Changing careers can be a daunting prospect, especially when you've been working in a particular field for a long time. For me, that field was accounting. I worked as an accountant for nine years before making the decision to switch to software testing. It wasn't an easy decision, but it was one that I'm glad I made. As an accountant, I was good at my job and enjoyed the work to a certain extent. However, I always felt like something was missing.
